When people ask me if I would take pictures of them and their kids, I know right away it’s gonna be a successful shoot. I love taking pictures of children. They are the most photogenic type of people. Karen’s kids were no exception and I had a good time shooting them.

I did make a few mistakes in during this shoot. 1- I over powered the flash which I didn’t notice on the lcd screen because of the strong sunlight. 2- I meant to set the white balance to compensate the warm CTO gel on my flash. That wasn’t a big issue since I’m shooting is RAW mode therefore I am able to fix everything in Adobe Lightroom.

The Irishtown Park is my favorite location for fall pictures. There was actually quite a few photogs there with their clients so it was a bit of a challenge to find a good vantage point without having people in the background.
